I knew Judy and Bob very well. I played bridge with them both for several years. Judy was an excellent bridge player and an even better person. She was a very gentle, kind, tolerant and considerate person. I was in the beginning stages of learning bridge, and she took it upon herself to help me learn. She did so very tolerantly, and even when I made some bonehead mistake playing, she would very gently tell me what I did wrong and how to improve my playing.
Judy was one of the kindest people I have ever known. She wrote me a beautiful letter of consolation when my wife died of Alzheimer's 5 years ago. It will be my pleasure to make a donation in her name to Alzheirmers.org.
