Elsie Marie Mendoza

 

Elsie M Mendoza, nee McConiha, passed away October 17, 2022 at the age of 93.  She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Leo Olmstead and Gavino Mendoza, and 3 children Diane Perez (Olmstead), Teresa Lynn (Olmstead) and Stephen Olmstead.

 

She is survived by 6 children, Sandra Johnson (Olmstead), Debra Mendoza (Olmstead), David Olmstead, Susan Arteaga (Olmstead) Leo Olmstead Jr. and Cynthia Olmstead, along with numerous grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great grandkids.

 

Born in Zanesville, Ohio on December 11, 1928 to parents Charles and Dorothy McConiha. She shared her birth with her twin sister Esther. Preceded in death by sisters Violet, Dorothy, Ruth, Evelyn and brother Charles.

 

She loved the sunshine, her rocking chair, country and gospel music, Elvis Presley and her lord Jesus Christ.

She was strong, brave and loving.  She was loved by many and will be missed by all!
