Barbara will be missed by many. I will always remember her sweet and straight forward way she would talk during our conversations. She had class and style that turned heads. Barbara was quick to smile and had the most generous heart. Tim, you will be in my prayers. A love like yours was evident to all that spent time with the both of you. Take good care and know I will be thinking about you.

Barbara was my friend and colleague at Stott Elementary. She lit up every room she was in with her smile and warm personality. I will never forget first meeting her as a new teacher there: we were walking down one of the school hallways towards each other. Our eyes met, she smiled and said, "Hello!" in her inimitable voice, and a friendship was born. We often ate lunch together and shared stories and strategies about how to move forward with teaching our students. Barbara was THE teacher to have in second grade, with her bear-themed room and wonderful activities that younger siblings hoped they would experience when they got to second grade. She was very special in so many ways.
