Obituary of Fred Tyler Krabbe

On Wednesday, February 01, 2023, Fredrick Tyler Krabbe, devoted husband, father of three children, grandfather of four grandchildren, passed away at the age of 87.

Fredrick was born on February 6, 1935 in Grand Junction, CO and raised by Coy and Maxine Middleton. He married Linda Simmons on September 11, 1965. They lived in Jacksonville, FL and Denver, CO. Fredrick had two brothers, Joe and Eddie, and two sisters Carma and Jeannie.

Fredrick enlisted in the United State Marine Corps in 1952 at the age of 16. He fought in two tours in the Korean War and three tours in the Vietnam War. He was a highly decorated Marine and a rare Mustang, serving his country for 20 years and retiring a 1 st Lieutenant in 1972. He started his own business and had a successful professional career as a residential real estate appraiser. He loved the mountains, good cigars, and good wine. He loved his unit, corps, God, and Country, and most of all he loved his Family. He was known for his kindness, generosity, friendship, and determination. He was strong, humble, and respected by all who knew him. He was a man with no enemies and many close friends.

Fredrick was preceded in death by his father, Coy, mother, Maxine, brothers, Eddie, and Joe, and wife, Linda. He is survived by his three children, Fredrick Jr., Karen, and Mark, his four grandchildren, Michele, Jonathan, Kimberly, and Constance, his sisters, Carma, and Jeannie. A memorial service will be held on Sunday February 19, at 1pm at the Eisenhower Chapel in Denver.
