Obituary of Beverly Ann Berens

Beverly Ann Berens passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side at Sunrise at Pinehurst Senior Living the morning of January 31, 2023.

She was born on December 23, 1935 in Pueblo, Colorado where she grew up. The eldest of four girls, she was an intelligent and adventurous child whose sense of mischief kept things interesting for her parents, teachers and siblings. Beverly was a beautiful woman, so beautiful that she worked for a time as a model. After high school she returned to school and gained clerical skills leading to a career as a medical transcriptionist. Given the quality of her work and her leadership skills she headed the medical records department at Kaiser Permanente Arapahoe Clinic for more than 30 years. Further, she was good with her hands. Her interests included painting, weaving, quilting and other fabric arts. She also built and refinished furniture. An avid reader, she enjoyed volunteering at the Aurora Friends of the Public Library Book Outlet. She enjoyed traveling and a yearly trip to Guanella Pass for the fall colors.

She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Ursula Berens. She loved and was proud of her children and grandchildren who survive her: Pamela Barth (Brad); Robert Blease, M.D.; Jon Barth; and Lauren Sirvaitis.
