Obituary of Paul A. Meyer

Paul, 83, passed away peacefully at Life Care Center at Stonegate on March 11th, 2023 after a brief illness. Paul requested that no services be held.

Paul was born on November 19th, 1939 and grew up in Golden, CO. He graduated from Golden High School in 1958. While in high school, he excelled in athletics and academics. He spent his entire career, which spanned over 30 years, with Adolph Coors Co. He began his career in 1960 and rose through the ranks to become Vice President of Brewing Operations when he retired in 1993. Along the way, he was an integral part of pioneering the one-piece aluminum can during his time at Coors Container Co. He made many lifelong friends along the way and spoke of them often.

Paul enjoyed being in nature and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed going camping, hunting, ATVing, and fishing; and was always happy spending time in the Flat Tops area in White River National Forest. Paul also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents Lester Fred Meyer and Charlotte Bernice Meyer, as well as sister Joan Krausman, and daughter Sally Meyer.

Paul is survived by his wife, Linda. A son and daughter, Mike Meyer and Mindy Morgan. Four grandchildren, Melissa Luke, Michael Meyer, Sally Morgan, and Mitchell Morgan. Two great grandchildren, Emberly Luke and Ella Luke. Two brothers, Mike Meyer and Fritz Meyer, and many special nieces and nephews.

Paul touched many lives and will be remembered as a man of great character, a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
