David A. Brinegar, 70 died at home in Denver, CO Jan 30, 2023.

Born and raised in Miami, FL.  He loved his Biscayne Bay and the Everglades National Parks.  Son of Air Force MSG John Carl Brinegar and Mary Airene “Rene” Carter.

David worked for 15 years as a General Contractor / Insurance Adjuster / Inspector specializing in restoring difficult and historical structures, including State and Federal Sites.  He held a Class ‘B’ Contractor's License.  In ’96 he made his way to Denver and obtained an Electricians Apprentice License and worked on Commercial and Industrial projects.

In ’97 he transitioned to AT&T where he worked for 6 years as a Provisioning Technician, remotely installing, testing, and placing new equipment in service.  Trained and guided onsite field technicians in equipment installation and troubleshooting practices.  He worked 36 hours straight during the aftermath of 9/11/01 ensuring communications kept flowing.

In ’04 he went to Rock Springs, WY for the Gas & Oil Industry.  On smaller projects, he operated dozers, track hoes, and side booms which he enjoyed very much.  He became a CDL Teamster with Hazmat and DOT Compliance Endorsements.  He worked on pipeline projects across the country from West Texas to the Dakotas, and Nevada to Ohio & West Virginia.  Getting to the Right-Of-Way in the dark, he would often send pictures of the Sunrise.

David was a loyal dog lover and owner of Luke & Mooch.  Played the guitar and ukelele.  Had exemplary hardware and computer skills and loved racing games.  Loved movies.  Had a wicked sense of humor, and would call with his own Joke of the Day.
