Obituary of Marcella Arleen Gonzales

Marcella "Marcie" Arleen Gonzales, aged 72, of Denver, CO passed away on April 5, 2023. 

Marcie was born in Trinidad, CO to John A. and Dora LaCrue. She is preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers, Richard, John, and Vernon. She is survived by her husband Bob, her three children Robert (Olivia), Kimberly (William), and James (Jena), and her grandchildren Dominic, Destiny, Julian, and Alex. 

Marcie met Bob in 1967 and they later married in July of 1971, remaining together until her last breath. She was grateful to have him by her side throughout the years. She was especially proud of all of her children, including those added throughout her life. She would constantly speak of their accomplishments and life's fulfillments. Her true joy came later in life as she became a grandmother to each of her four grandchildren who filled her room and her heart with hand-drawn pictures, music, tea parties, sports games on the T.V., coffee every Thursday, lots of laughter, and tons of love. Marcie was many things to many people. She was selfless, caring, smart, strong, and silly. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and baking in the kitchen, summer nights sitting on the porch, and sharing her many life stories with anyone who wanted to listen. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be given to Kimberly Gonzales to be used towards Marcie's final rest.
