Obituary of Robin Marie Aragon-Ermer

Robin Marie Aragon-Ermer, 53, of Frederick, Colorado went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 11, 2023 in Longmont, CO after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Robin was born July 28, 1969 in Rocky Ford, CO to Edward and Emily Aragon (Robbins).

Her early childhood years were spent in Huntington Beach, CA from the age of 6 months to the age of 12, when her family moved back to Colorado; Rocky Ford for a year and then to Longmont where she graduated from Niwot High School in 1987.

Her and her family then moved to Pueblo, CO that same year.  Robin joined the Marine Corps in 1989.  After boot camp in Paris Island, NC, she was stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Clemente, CA for the remainder of her military career.  She was an Expert Marksman and obtained the rank of Corporal.

Upon leaving the Marine Corps, Robin moved back to Colorado Springs, CO where she earned a degree as a paralegal from Pikes Peak Community College. Soon after, she moved to Denver CO, where she worked downtown for the entirety of her legal career. The last 12 years and 8 months, she worked as a Legal Support Specialist at Greenberg Traurig until she retired in Early 2023.  She loved her work family and in honor of her, Greenberg Traurig has named a lounge room in the office, “Robin’s Nest,” in her memory.  

Robin married the love of her life, Al Ermer, on May 13, 2017.  They lived in Frederick, CO with her daughter, Isabella.  

Robin is survived by her husband, Al Ermer, daughter, Isabella Aragon; and stepdaughters, Jordan (Christian) and Chelsea Ermer.  She is also survived by her twin sister, Holly Guagliardo (Kevin), brother Brad Hardman (Jerri), brother Scott Aragon (Molly), and sister Sierra Santiago (Robert).  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews:  Alexis Ohrdorf (Nick), Savannah Aragon (Justin), Delaynee Montoya (Rob), Brandi Hardman, Broc Hardman, Bradi Aragon, Logan Aragon, Sage Aragon, Hailey and Hunter.  Also six great nieces and nephews: Ava, Mason, Riley, Josiah, Ander and Presley. 

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Emily Ann Aragon (December 1987) and Edward George Aragon (August 2022).

Robin enjoyed baking, doing crafts, and antique shopping for vintage treasures which she displayed proudly in her beautiful home. She also loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, live music and most of all her family.  Lastly, Robin will always be remembered for her faith and love of Jesus Christ.  

An honorary mention to those friends and loved ones at Life Fellowship Church of Frederick.  Her “other family” and whom she loved dearly.  There are no words to describe the gratitude and appreciation for this congregation!
