Clinton (Clint) Blyth

September 1957 - May 5, 2023

Clint was born in 1957, on an Army base in France, to Clayton and Joan Blyth. Within a year, the small family of three relocated back to the US, and settled in Colorado. Clint was soon joined by two brothers, Cliff and Dan. Clint spent his high school years in Evergreen where he graduated from Evergreen High School.

He attended 3 years of college at the University of Colorado, before he landed an exciting job working as a traveling Marlboro Man, stocking cigarettes for communities in and around Pueblo. He started working for United Airlines in January of 1983 which was the beginning of a very long successful IT career, remaining in the computer department for United Airlines, even as the company changed names many times (Covia, Galileo, Cendant, Quantitude, Travelport). Clint took early retirement in 2015.

Clint was married to Pamela Knowski (Kaylor) from 1986 to 1997. In 1987 they welcomed their first child, Larissa, followed by a son, Dillon, in 1994. They lived in northern Colorado, where Larissa and Dillon remained living with their mom until they each left for college.

In 1999, Clint and Debbi were married, making their home in Lone Tree, CO, where they attended Cherry Hills Community Church.

Clint was an avid golfer, and was on the golf course 2-3 times a week, sometimes more, all year round, weather permitting. Clint also enjoyed Colorado Rockies games and the Colorado Avalanche, and watched the Denver Broncos comfortably at home. When not wearing golfing attire, Clint was often in Colorado sports attire.   

Clint loved to travel with Debbi, including many trips with her parents and with friends. He enjoyed Phoenix for Mexican food, golf, or Rockies Spring Training, and Alabama and Panama City Beach Florida for time with family.  The couple traveled as far and exotic as Vietnam and Thailand, as tropical as Tahiti and Hawaii, and visited much of the Caribbean and Mexico. They also traveled to different areas within France, the UK, and even gambled in Monte Carlo.

Clint battled cancer from 2006 onward. For many years, he was sustained through prayers and God’s grace. Clint had a stem cell transplant in 2011, which gave him 4 ½ years of fantastic health and renewed youth.  In 2015 the cancer returned, and while there were still many good months and weeks and days sprinkled throughout, the battle seemed to get harder over the years.  

Clint was so very proud of Larissa and Dillon and their families and he loved his role as “Grampy”! He is survived by: daughter Larissa and Kyle Seewald, and their children, Lane, Kinzlee and Layla; and son Dillon and Murphy Blyth, and their children, Lakyn and Luxe. He cherished his wife Debbi and was thankful for the relationships Larissa and Dillon each have with her. He is also survived by his brothers Cliff (Phyllis) and Dan (Anne) and nephews Brian and Jesse.

Clint was a strong Christian and confident of his Heavenly destination. He quietly slipped away on May 5, surrounded by his loving family. Forevermore on Cinco de Mayo, Clint would want us to remember his smile, his laughter and the joy and fun in his life, and he would encourage us to raise a toast in his honor with happy memories of him.
