Obituary of Jose Elmer Ortivez Jr.

 

Jose Elmer Ortivez   (JR.)  entered into God's Kingdom on Sunday, October 8th, 2023, He entered into Life on October 17th, 1961, in Pueblo,  Colorado, to Jose Elmer Ortivez Sr. And Alice Nancy Ortivez. 

 

Jr. came from a large family of 7 children, and he was the 4th one of the 7. Jr. was strong-willed and stubborn at times,  but he also had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was generous,  loving, and gentle. Jr. was known for his uplifting personality,  he always had the ability to make one feel loved, especially with his big hugs and kisses. Jr. was an avid Broncos fan along with his love for music especially for the Oldies.  He was the life of the party,  everyone knew him, and many will remember how his smile, dimples, and captivating eyes could change the energy of an entire room. Jr. loved to join his friends for a good game of horseshoes his friends knew him by a given Nickname of "CAT DADDY " because of his ability to be a smooth talker. He followed in his Father's footsteps in his love for drawing and painting.  Jr. worked in the Bakery Industry most of his life, where he retired from.

 

He is proceeded in death by his Father, Jose Elmer Ortivez, Brother, Bill(Billy) Ortivez, Daughter, Nadine Ortivez and Niece,  Larissa Kolenc and will forever be missed by those survived; his Mother,  Alice N. Ortivez, Son, Joshua (Brittny) Ortivez, grandson Mayson, grandson Jayden, granddaughter  Armani, grandsons,  Joell, Sammy, Santino, great-grandson, Xavier, great-granddaughters,  Keilani, and Lilliana, brother Mark(Patsy)Ortivez,  sister,  Julie(Les) Powell, sister, Liza Ortivez,  sister, Nancy( Russ)Morales, sister Sandy (Pat) Gonzales,  also numerous  Nieces and Nephews,  Aunts and Uncles and cousins. 

 

He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them.

He will be sadly and dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Rest easy in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jr., Son, Brother,  Dad, Grandpa, Great-grandpa, Uncle, Friend,  till we meet again.

You will always remain in our hearts and memories, Love you Always and Forever.
