Saul Margulies

Obituary of Saul Margulies

After 92 years of life, love and laughter, Saul Margulies, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023, with his family lovingly by his side.
Born September 5, 1931, to Joseph and Mollie Margulies, Saul lived his young life in Queens, NY with his sister Evelyn Tappin (nee Margulies), along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends nearby.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Rhoda (nee Auster), his children Ira (Christine Best) and James, and his grandchildren Alexandra (Adam Tropper), Joshua and Victoria. Saul was predeceased by his parents and his sister.

Saul had an enormous heart and an incredible sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and loving. He was clever and funny and always was willing to share his wisdom and wit with his children and grandchildren when asked. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family and as a loving and caring son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.

In typical Saul fashion, there are no services planned, certainly no pomp and circumstance. Donations are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation.
