Obituary of Carol Margaret Alcorn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Margaret Alcorn of Westminster, Colorado.

Carol was born August 29th, 1933 and passed October 2nd, 2023 at the age of 90.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband James J. Alcorn and her eldest son James E. Alcorn. Carol leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law Gerald and Donna Alcorn, daughters Sharon Drummond, Susan Van Newhouse, daughter and son-in-law Lynne and Dale Quinn.  

Carol was blessed with and loved dearly her 10 grandchildren,  8 great-grandchildren and even 1 great-great, grandchild.



We were blessed to have Carol in our lives for so long and I'm sure you will agree that she was a blessing to all of those who knew her.



Carol was born on a farm in Minto, North Dakota. She was urged by two of her older sisters to move to Denver where she took a job at the Lowry Air Force base, finance center. She met her husband Jim, married in 1955 and started their family of five. 



Carol will be laid to rest at her husband's side in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Colorado. 



Her love will always be with us and  she will be greatly missed!
