Obituary of Suzanne Elizabeth Combs

Suzanne Elizabeth Combs 1947 – 2023

Suzanne Elizabeth Combs was called home to heaven to be with Jesus on October 05, 2023. She was born to John and Elizabeth Allison on November 13, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Colorado in 1984 where she lived until her passing.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Larry Combs, two sons Eric (Pamela) Combs and Christopher (Renee) Combs, a daughter Angela (Seth) Smith, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Linda Cate and two brothers Roger Allison and John Allison. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Pamala Allison, and a brother Craig Allison.

Suzanne’s family and friends were what filled her heart. She saw nothing but beauty and love in everyone she met. No matter where she went, even for a trip to the store, she would come away with meeting a new friend. Her way of expressing life was “an adventure.”

Some of the things she enjoyed was oil painting, growing her flowers, and conversation on pretty much any subject. She had a knack of remembering people, places, and things down to the most minute detail. She was a great listener and advisor to husband, children, and friends.

She will always be with us and remain in our hearts as the most precious perfect wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), sister and friend anyone could have been blessed with. We thank God for every moment we got to share with her.
