Obituary of Jefferson M. Sheppard

 

Jefferson M. Sheppard born in Fort Myers, Florida,  7-7-1954 to William A. and June M. Sheppard. The family ended up in Northglenn, Colorado.

Jeff met his future wife, Mary in Radio Broadcasting class at Western State College. After 2 years there he had the "calling" to go to Art School.  He graduated from RMCAD in 1976, and he and Mary tied the knot.  10 years later their twin boys were born. Jeff continued his education and received a Bachelors Degree then a Masters Degree.

His passion for art never wavered nor the love for his wife and sons.

His travels took him to many countries. And you could find him in any given museum. 

Alzheimer's didn't slow him down or stop his sense of fun. 

Proceeded in death are his Mom, June, and Dad, Bill, Grandparents and cousins. 

 He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, sons, Nicholas, Jason, daughter in-law,  Louisa, and beautiful Grandson,  Ashwin. ( New York).  His brothers, Mike,  (Colleen), Dan, ( Lita), ( Florida), Steve, ( Jill), Matt, ( Barb), ( Colorado), Tim, (Darla) Michigan. Many Nephews, Nieces, and cousins,  close family friends Gail and Anna.

If you knew Jeff, he wouldn't want you to be sad, but to enjoy your life. Raise a glass and look at the world thru the love of art.

A celebration of his artful life will be  scheduled for the Spring or Summer of 2024.
