Obituary of Richard Earl Selby

Richard Earl Selby, 85, of Littleton, passed away from natural causes at home on October 24, 2023.

Richard loved music and could play many instruments. He was a member of the Swallow Hill music school in Englewood, Colorado. One of his favorite pastimes was to jam with his daughter, Laura, who plays guitar and sings.

Richard was an avid fisherman, and he loved to hike and camp in the mountains. Richard was known for his sense of humor. He wrote cartoons and painted in his spare time. Richard was a man of faith. When asked for advice, he said don’t regret anything, and go to church.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Del and Jayne Selby of Denver, his sister, Judy Boh, half-sister Jayne, and his son, Randall Dean. Richard is survived by his half-brother and half-sister Peter and Marta. He is also survived by his two daughters Laura and Leah, his son- in- law Damian, and five grandchildren: Natasha, Camille, Chaytanya, Odin, and Ian. Lastly, he is also survived by his great-grandson Joseph and his extended family.

There will be a celebration of life in a private ceremony in the chapel at Advent Health Littleton, 7700 S. Broadway, on November 11 at 11:00 a.m
