Karen Louise Shultz
1940 - 2023

 

Karen L. Shultz (nee Savidge) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the age of 83 with her family at her side.  Born in Danville, PA to William and Hazel Savidge,Karen graduated from Danville High School in 1958 and from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1962 with a B.S. in Pharmacy.  After marrying Robbin C. Shultz in 1965 and moving to Willingboro, NJ to raise a family, she embarkedon a 35 year career as a pharmacist.  Karen enjoyed travelling within the United States, to Europe, and to Japan, taking cruisesin the Caribbean and day-trips to Atlantic City, as well as spending time with family in Danville and Wyalusing, PA.  Following the passing of her husband in 2015, she moved to Highlands Ranch, CO to live near her sons.  Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, as well as her sister Audrey Hutchinson and her brother LeRoy Savidge (both of Danville, PA).  Karen is survived by a brother Robert Savidge (Danville, PA), her sons William Shultz (Conifer, CO) and Robert Shultz (Highlands Ranch, CO), and her granddaughters Hannah Shultz (Broomall, PA) and Abigail Shultz (Conifer, CO).  A private remembrance was held with the immediate family.
