Obituary of Mack Pruneda

A beloved father and friend to many, sadly, he passed away quietly in his home on November 12, 2023, at the age of 78. Known by Max to most people, he spent his later years enjoying his quiet time at home alone. He was born in Brady, Texas, in 1945 to Rogelia and Leopoldo Pruneda. He was raised with three sisters, and Max left behind two daughters, a son, two grandkids, and a great-grandchild.

His services will be held December 5th, 2023 at the Fort Logan National Cemetery. The family will celebrate his life in the spring when Max would have been happiest surrounded by freshly grown grass and spring flowers. We will provide that information on his social media platform as we know more.

Many of his friends will remember Max as a charismatic and flirtatious man who found a way to make those around him relaxed and happy. His kids will remember him for being the strict and loving father who found a way to make them laugh at themselves and strive for excellence in their lives. Max spent many days reminiscing about his Navy days and formative years growing up in Brownsville, Texas. His stubbornness and determination to achieve his goals only equaled his caring nature. Max will be missed by all those who knew him.
