Obituary of Rhonda Lynn Pieri

Rhonda was born January 19, 1960, in Denver, Colorado to Mabel Sams (Tjaden). She died, surrounded by her family, on January 2, 2024. As a child the family moved around some and it took them to Florence, Colorado, Standley Lake, Colorado and eventually Fort Lupton, Colorado. Most of her adult life was spend in Fort Lupton and Brighton. She was raised with her 4 siblings, Gerry, Mike, Steven and Alana and lived near many cousins.

Rhonda had two children, Josette and Robert. Most of her adult life was spent raising her kids while working at the Branding Iron, a small family restaurant in Fort Lupton. She later worked at Beehive Homes, an assisted living community, with elderly Alzheimer residents. Her last job, before retirement, was working at King Soopers in the bakery as well as Click List. Rhonda gained many friends through her time at work.

Rhonda struggled with different health issues throughout her life and while it took its toll on her body, she found a way to be joyful and kind to others. She is truly at peace and finally pain free.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her son, Robert, mother Mabel, brothers, Steven and Mike and sister Alana. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester and Millie Sams and Alice Tjaden. Rhonda is survived by her daughter, Josette (Louis) Sanguinette, brother Gerry (Jamie) Tjaden, grandchildren Julyssa Sanguinette, Cauy Sanguinette, Rebecca (Malachi) Sanguinette and Paul (Josh) Sanguinette, great grandchildren Ezekiah and Adonijah, niece Kelsey Thornburg and dear friend Teri Brede as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
