Obituary of Peggy Jay Dunbar

Peggy Jay Dunbar born September 3 rd 1962, to January 22nd 2024, was born in Boulder, Colorado to parents Walter T Dunbar Jr. and Jayn K (Young) Dunbar. Peggy graduated from Boulder High in 1980 then continued her education at the University of Northern Colorado. She received her bachelor’s degree in business in 1984. Peggy spent most of her career in retail where she enjoyed managing teams and interacting with customers. Her most recent and favorite place of employment was Carefree of Colorado where she worked for almost 6 years. Peggy is survived by her sister Susie Kerr. Was a beloved Aunt and felt that was her most important role in life. She loved spending time with her nephew Mike Kerr and niece Kelly Smiley while they were growing up. She attended numerous school functions, sporting events and spoiled them every opportunity she could. She was then ecstatic to welcome a grand-nephew and grand-niece Tafton Smiley and Isabella Kerr. Peggy was an avid sports fan but specifically cheered for the Kansas City Royals, Colorado Avalanche, and Denver Broncos. Peggy will be remembered for being a loving sister, aunt, and a friend to all that met her. A celebration of life will be held on April 20, 2024, in Arvada, Colorado. The celebration will be arranged by Susie Kerr, and a separate invitation will be sent
