Patrick Allan Dover

1952-2024

Patrick (Pat) Allan Dover was born 24 June 1952 in Seymour, IN to Allan B. Dover and Patricia L. Webster, who were both born in Indiana. Patrick has two sisters and three brothers.

Patrick graduated from Lebanon High School in Lebanon IN in 1970 and served the Marine Corps from 1971-1973 in Los Angeles CA. Patrick earned the National Defense Service Medal. Patrick earned his CDL and drove for multiple large trucking companies over the years.

In 1976 Patrick married Judith A. VonFeldt from Brighton, CO and became the step father to three young children. Jackie Baker, Sheri Pennetta, and Michael Jones.

In 1979 Patrick and Judith welcomed their first daughter, Mindy. In 1984 Patrick, Judi, Sheri, Michael and Mindy relocated to Seymour IN. Patrick continued to work in the trucking industry. In 1992, Patrick, Judy with their daughters Sheri and Mindy moved back to Westminster, CO. Patrick and Judi purchased a townhome in Thornton, CO in 2006. Patrick went on to work in Safety Engineering. He contributes to some of his best memories to the construction crews at Denver International Airport, NOLA, Pueblo and CO Climax Mine in Leadville. Patrick often traveled for work.

Patrick was known for his vibrant personality and volunteering his time and voice by raising money for charities dear to his heart at the Eagles 4019 in Federal Heights, CO.

Patrick is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Judith Dover, one granddaughter, Deseray Palmer and a infant grandson, Justin Dover.

Patrick is survived by four children: Jackie Baker, Sheri Pennetta, Michael (Penny) Jones, Mindy (Brett) Gruesner; 11 grandchildren: Joshua Dover, Cara Dover, Leann Garcia, Jocie Mann, Destinee Dover, James Jones, Jennifer Jones, JulieAnne Jones, Justin Jones, Aiden Gruesner, and Reece Gruesner; seven great grandchildren, his three brothers, Edward Dover, Jeffery Dover, Doug Dover, and two sisters, Linda Martin and Debbie Dover.

Following cremation, Patrick’s ashes will be privately interred at a beautiful mountain location in Leadville, CO as he waits with us all for Christ’s triumphant return and the resurrection with a heavenly body for all who trust in Him.
