I am so sad about the passing of Ronnie who I have known since college. I didn’t get to spend much time with him over the past years, but whenever we did see each other our connection was always so genuine. He was a sweet, sensitive and compassionate man who will be greatly missed by all. My heart is heavy for Greg; his best friend and brother, Adam; his closest and loving nephew and Penny; his sister and soulmate.
May you rest in peace dear friend and know that we will always be with you.

This is so sad. I just reconnected with him on Facebook, albeit briefly, a few weeks ago after having lost touch for alot of years. We just barbed about the Yankees, he was still a fan even though he moved away from New York years ago. I will miss his wit. He was a great guy. My condolences to his family and of course to Penny.

I regret , even more now, those missed chances to get together with Ron over the last few years. With my upcoming retirement, I will make every effort to connect with old friends… fair winds and following seas old friend.
Sincerest condolences Greg and Penny.

Ron was a dynamic dude who shared his knowledge freely. Every time you were with him you learned something. I remember being impressed by his familiarity with the night sky, his knowledge of history and his mechanical abilities. He definitely was one of the most impressive friends I’ve ever had. He shared his knowledge with ease. I watched him learn to fly fish ( taught by Greg) to the point where he was a master. I always appreciated the time I spent with Ron and now feel cheated. Gods Speed Ron; I will miss you and all the endeavors we shared and the ones we will miss.

Ron was a dynamic individual.
He always impressed me with his knowledge of the night sky, history and his mechanical abilities. All of these attributes he shared with ease. I remember him fly fishing under the direction of his brother to the point of becoming a master in his own right. I loved to try and impress him with newly purchased gadgets for our camping trips but was mostly satisfied with the stuff he already had. I will miss the adventures we had and sadden by the loss of the ones we will miss. Gods Speed my friend, your shoes will never be filled.
