Obituary of Michael R. Kincaid
Born October 6, 1948, in Michigan, Michael R. Kincaid passed peacefully in comfort care in Colorado on November 26, 2021, ending his two and a half year battle with mesothelioma.
He was married to his wife Sharon for almost 33 years, and together they raised three sons, John, William (Woody), and Alexander, who were the light and joy of his life.
The oldest of five children, he is survived by brothers James and Scott Kincaid and sister Karen Radford. He is preceded in death by sister Cheri Kinney and parents Ray Kincaid and Mary Lou Fellet.
Michael spent his work life as a flight attendant then as a mortgage loan officer until his retirement. In those years, he made countless treasured friendships that he carried through his life.
He was an outgoing and kind man who loved his community and, over the years, spent time volunteering at the National Western Stock Show, Habitat for Humanity, Denver Gaels Youth Football Club, and numerous other organizations.
He was a tenacious Denver Broncos fan who worked as a ticket rep at the stadium for nearly 20 years and never missed a home game, keeping perfect attendance until late in his illness. He loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer and expert skier. He also enjoyed gardening and created a beautiful environment surrounding his family's home. His beloved dogs were spoiled rotten.
Michael will be so terribly missed by so many who loved him. There will be a private interment. A celebration of Michael’s life will be planned for the future, with details to be shared at a later date.
